Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sugarcraft North, the England North area of The British Sugarcraft Guild.

The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply to all customers (“You”) participating in any event organised and operated by the England North area of the British Sugarcraft Guild trading as Sugarcraft North (“We”, “Us”).

Purchase of an event or workshop ticket by (or on behalf of) you, acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you purchase an event or workshop ticket online, you will also be subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Sugarcraft North reserves the right to:

1. Make reasonable and/or necessary alterations to the advertised event arrangements, featured participants, or programme without being obliged to offer refund or exchange.

2. Cancel or abandon any event without notice and without liability for compensations or damages other than up to the maximum of the ticket price. (If the event cancels in advance, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you using the details you have provided at time of purchase.)

3. Refuse admission to the venue or remove you in reasonable circumstances if your behaviours may adversely affect other people’s enjoyment of the event, without refund.

4. Sugarcraft North accepts no responsibility for any personal property.

5. We cannot refund tickets unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by us. We are not liable for lost, destroyed or stolen tickets and cannot replace them.

6. Tickets are not transferable and their resale for profit or commercial gain is prohibited and may render them void.

7. You must produce a valid ticket to attend a ticketed event and removing parts of, defacing, or otherwise altering your ticket may render it void.

8. By attending the event, you confirm and agree that we may record you via photographs, film, audio/visual, or other recording, still or moving, during the event, without payment.

9. We shall own all rights in such recordings, and you hereby agree that we may use the recordings for any purpose at our sole discretion including in any marketing and/or publicity materials, and on any website and social media; and agree that the recordings may be altered, edited and/or modified (e.g., combined with other images, text, graphics, and/or sound). You hereby release us from all liability from such use and promotion and specifically waive any right to any compensation you may have for appearing in any of the recordings.
