We held another popular Day of Demonstrations featuring Ribana Cristescu who showed us ‘Palette Knife Painting’ with buttercream, and ‘Wafer Paper Decorations’.

Workshop in tribute to Nadene Hurst
May 2023 - Chain Lane Community Centre, Knaresborough
We organised a special royal icing Charity Workshop in tribute to Nadene Hurst who was a founder member at North West Branch, and widely recognised as the 'Queen of Royal Icing'.
The Sugar Collage technique enjoyed at the workshop was developed by Nadene and she published a book dedicated to the technique.
Sugar Skills Weekend 2023
March 2023 - Milnthorpe, Cumbria.
Our annual Sugar Skills Weekend was held in March. Students enjoyed a Spring Sugar Flowers class with Ann Parker, and fun Easter Bunny Basket class with Debbie Cox.
